Ray Street is a tiny little one way street in the heart of North Park.

This tiny little one way street is lined with galleries, stores and shops. It has become an Art Mecca, and is considered to be one of the most culturally rich art & culture districts in San Diego.

It is also host to one of San Diego’s largest longest running (9 years) “Art & Culture” events, “Ray @ Night”. “Ray @ Night” takes place every second Saturday of each month from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. Live music, arts & crafts & good food. “Ray @ Night” is free to the general public and is a family oriented event.

Surrounding Ray Street you will find the very lively and diverse community of North Park. Its history is rich and so are its homes and commercial buildings.

Join us on Ray Street every second Saturday of each month for “Ray @ Night”. We celebrated our 100th “Ray @ Night” in January of 2010 and we are still going strong!

  • Ray at Night exposes first annual Ray of Light

North Park’s bohemian art walk, is fast approaching it’s 111th consecutive event. In celebration with both this and the holiday season, businesses on Ray Street have decided to shine a new light on the event, illuminating local businesses, the street, the neighborhood, and of course, their art.
