“While in San Diego with my husband attending a conference we had the pleasure of going to an art walk one evening. In our hotel we had read an article in the New York Times about a monthly art walk in North Park called Ray @ Night. We asked our cab driver if he had ever heard of it. He knew exactly where we wanted to go and dropped us at the corner of Ray Street in the North Park district. What we quickly found out was that it was the 100th anniversary of the art walk. It was great! This one little street held a mixture of art galleries, outdoor craft vendors and live music. We also had the pleasure of eating at a local restaurant. The atmosphere and the people were friendly and the whole experience was very memorable.”

“I love Ray at Night. We took our 9 year old son one night for the first time. He really liked the local musical entertainers. I’m always impressed with the exhibits and I got inspired to paint again. It’s an awesome family friendly event.”

“I attended this monthly art walk about two years ago when a friend of mine asked me to come see some paintings that she would have on display there. I enjoyed walking in and out of galleries, and mingling with the artists and the crowd. There was a live band that played great music. I also enjoyed the open air displays by local artist selling their designs. I had a great time!”
